KSUT celebrates 40 years of public radio in the Four Corners by presenting Michael Franti & Spearhead, with special guest Zella Day and the Afrobeatniks, live at Three Springs Plaza (just north of Mercy Regional Medical Center) today. Gates open at 1:00 p.m.
The show is part of KSUT's year-long 40th Anniversary Concert Series. It's our way of saying “thanks for being part of the KSUT Family.” It's also a station fundraiser. All proceeds from our 40th Anniversary Concert support our capital campaign to build our new home – The Eddie Box, Jr. Media Center.
We'll have food from Mariana's, Mountain Stir Fry, Chumba's Big Dog, and the Purple Ice Cream Truck, and Schlotzsky's, along with beverages from Ska Brewing, cocktails served by Toast Mobile Lounge with ingredients from Durango Craft Spirits, and wine from Guy Drew Vineyards.
Tickets are on sale now for $40.00 general admission, and kids under age 12 are admitted free. We've also got $100.00 VIP passes.
