KSUT celebrates 40 years of great public radio service to the Four Corners with a special concert tomorrow at Three Springs Plaza!
It's our way of saying “thanks for being part of the KSUT Family.”
And it's a station fundraiser. All proceeds from our 40th Anniversary Concert support our capital campaign to build our new home – The Eddie Box, Jr. Media Center.
Tickets are available today at the gate for $45.00.
We're holding our 40th Anniversary Celebraration at Durango's Three Springs, Plaza, just north of Mercy Medical Center. Scroll down for parking and transportation options.
The show features Michael Franti & Spearhead, the Afrobeatniks, and Zella Day.
We also have great local food from Mariana's Authentic Cuisine, Mountain Stir Fry, Chumba's Big Dog, Schlotzsky's, and the Purple Ice Cream Truck.
Beverage vendors include Ska Brewing, cocktails served by Toast Mobile Lounge with Durango Craft Spirits ingredients, wine by Guy Drew Vineyards, and caffeine from Perfect Pour Nitro Coffee.
We'll also have plenty of free water.
Event schedule:
1:00 p.m. - Gates open
2:00 p.m. - The Afrobeatniks
3:00 p.m. - Zella Day

Event FAQ's:
How do I get tickets?
You can buy them at the gate today for $45.00.
We're also offering VIP tickets for $100.00, available at the gate. VIP passes include beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and stage-side covered seating.
Kids age 12 and under are admitted FREE, if accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 will also be admitted to VIP area with accompanying adult(s) who purchased VIP passes.
Where do I park?
Just follow the directional signage once you turn into Three Springs from Highway 160. A $5.00 donation per car is requested. Please carpool! Handicap and senior parking will be available near the front gate.
What about public transportation?
Thanks to Alpine Bank, KSUT is offering FREE transportation to Three Springs all day tomorrow on Durango Transit! You may board from anywhere on the transit system and transfer at the Durango Transit center downtown to go to Three Springs. You can also board at the Mercury Payment Systems stop, which runs every 30 minutes at about 15:00 and 45:00 past the hour. Please park on the street, and not in the Mercury parking lot. Durango Transit will run special service from the Mercury stop starting at 12:45 p.m., and ending at 8:00 p.m.
What may I bring to the show?
Low-back chairs, coolers, water, food, cameras. Shade structures are allowed, but if they impede the view of others, please set them up along the venue perimeter. We highly recommend festival style set-up such as a tarp and blanket, as the ground at the site is covered with wood chips.
What should I leave at home?
Alcohol, glass, firearms, and pets. No smoking of any kind will be allowed at the venue.
How can I volunteer?
We still need a few volunteers. If you're interested, contact gram@ksut.org. We'd love to have your help! You'll get passes to the show and one free drink token.
We'll see you later today as KSUT celebrates 40 years!
