Watch: A Chilling Masterpiece From Anna von Hausswolff

Swedish singer, organist and all-around bad-ass Anna von Hausswolff has released a monumental new video for her song "Come Wander With Me/Deliverance." Breathlessly beautiful and brooding, the film unfolds in the deep, dark woods where Hausswolff walks stone-faced among the trees, drinking in the majesty of nature and its indifference to the human experience. As the music erupts with screeching guitars and thundering drums, Hausswolff turns and stares directly into the camera with a withering gaze, as though we've been silently trailing her the whole time. It's a seemingly inconsequential but unsettling moment that arrives just before the video takes a dark and disturbing turn.

The short film was directed by Hausswolff's sister, Maria von Hausswolff. "Come Wander With Me/Deliverance" is from last year's full-length The Miraculous.
