Vote For The Year's Best Music (So Far)

NPR

Around this time each year I begin to marvel at how we've already reached the halfway point. I haven't even taken down my Christmas lights yet and already everyone's reflecting on all the great music we've had so far.

For the past several weeks, the NPR Music team has been gathering to hammer out a list of the group's 25 favorite albums and 50 favorite songs. We laughed, we cried. I blacked out at one point and woke up in Bob Boilen's arms. Voices were raised, eyes were rolled and somehow when the dust settled, we were able to hug it out and just be happy to have so much amazing music to enjoy.

Bob and I talk about our own favorites on this week's All Songs Considered, along with NPR Music's Stephen Thompson and Ann Powers. Now it's your turn to vote for your own favorites.

Pick (check) up to ten albums from the list below. If you don't see the record you love listed, just scroll to the bottom of the form and write your candidates in. We'll publish the results here on the All Songs blog next Tuesday the 19th.
