Clayson Benally & Jeneda Benally, brother & sister of Blackfire, originally from Black Mesa on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, were born into the heart of a political land dispute separating them by a fence from traditional homeland and family. They grew up protesting the environmental degradation and inhumane acts of cultural genocide against their traditional way of life They are very excited to announce their new side project "Sihasin"! A Navajo word that means Hope & Assurance is basis of duo new sound. Sihasin, is proud to release their debut video "Take a Stand"! They were also featured in Making Music Magazine (November/December 2013); Makes front cover at LaLoca Magazine (November 2013); Honored with 2013 "Best Rock" award at Indian Summer Music Awards.
