Our Summer Programming Is Here

Our summer program schedule is underway. To celebrate long days and warm nights, we’ve tweaked our late night programming, rearranged some weekend shows and added some mind candy for Friday evening...

k?ni Náshwa?... Start your summer weekend with a global-fusion dance party on k?ni Náshwa, two hours of EthnoTronicTranceFusion. Producer & host Kenny B, returns to Friday evening with a cosmic soundscape of world, electronica, dance and beyond. Friday evening, 7:00 - 9:00.

World Café... Spend a late summer evening with new host Talia Schlanger, as she continues the World Café tradition of eclectic music, interviews and performances with today’s essential and emerging artists. Talia took over the show in early April upon David Dye’s retirement. Weeknights, 10:00 – midnight

UnderCurrents Radio... The perfect end to our Saturday evening lineup, UnderCurrents is a long-time favorite on KSUT. Join award-winning radio producer and host Gregg McVicar as he brings together music fans across borders, cultures and generations. An eclectic mix of music similar to the KSUT Music Blend. Saturday night, 10:00 – midnight

The KSUT Night Blend... If you’re up late, don’t miss our overnight eclectic mix of music. Whether you’re a night owl, work the graveyard shift, or just can’t sleep… the Night Blend will keep you groovin’ until dawn. Nightly, midnight – 5:00 am

We’ve also rearranged some of our current weekend shows for a better programming fit…

This American Life... Ira Glass and his crew will move up an hour on Saturday and can now be heard at 11:00 am, following Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me. Saturday morning, 11:00 - noon

Only A Game... Hosted by award-winning, veteran NPR commentator Bill Littlefield, Only A Game is NPR’s weekly sports program. Using the power of audio to explore the place of sports and competition in our culture, Only A Game offers a mix of compelling insight and deeply told narratives. Saturday, noon – 1:00

Sunday Baroque... Enjoy an additional hour of classical music as we expand Sunday Baroque back to two hours. Join producer and host Suzanne Bona for her weekly radio program featuring music composed in the baroque era (1600-1750) and the years leading up to it. Sunday morning, 6:00 – 8:00

Radiolab... Join hosts Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich for a weekly program about curiosity. Where sound illuminates ideas, and the boundaries blur between science, philosophy, and human experience. Radiolab is heard around the country on more than 500 member stations. Sunday morning, 11:00 – noon

Folk Alley... A distinctive two-hour blend of singer/songwriter, Americana, acoustic, Celtic, traditional and world sounds, Folk Alley is a great soundtrack for your Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoon, 1:00 – 3:00

Living On Earth ... A weekly environmental news and information program distributed by Public Radio International,  Living On Earth is produced and hosted by Steve Curwood and has been on the air for more than 16 years. Sunday afternoon, 3:00 – 4:00
