New Dean at PCC’s Southwest CO Community College

Norm Jones has been named Dean of Pueblo Community College’s Southwest Colorado Community College. Jones will oversee the college’s operations in the Southwest region that includes course-offering sites in Durango, Mancos/Cortez and Pagosa Springs.

“We are pleased to have Norm join our team and look for great things to come for SCCC and our students under his leadership and direction,” said PCC President Patty Erjavec.

Jones most recently was Vice President for Enrollment and Athletics for Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA.

"I am honored to have been chosen to lead the college’s educational programs in Southwest Colorado and to be a member of this community," Jones said. "I believe strongly in the institution’s mission of providing quality educational opportunities that transform the lives of our students, enrich our communities, and strengthen the regional economy. We have a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students, and I am excited to be involved in this process."

Jones earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science at the University of Tennessee and his Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling from West Georgia University.
