KSUT's Spring Membership Drive Begins With Lots of Books and Coffee!

Our on-air drive is now underway. Pledge your support to KSUT now and you could win many great prizes, including a year's worth of reading and caffeine.

Sunday is Books and Coffee Day. It's a way to celebrate some of the finer things in life: great reading and great coffee.

Pledge your support to KSUT now at our secure website (click here), or call 970-563-0255.

Your support makes you eligible to win a full year of books from Maria's Bookshop and 12 months of coffee from Durango Coffee Co.

You'll meet with Maria's employees for a personalized 'reader consultation.' Based on your reading interests, bookstore staff will make several thoughtful reading choices for each month.

KSUT Listener/Member Dennis Portlance won the prize last year, and sent along this note:

The Year of Books prize from Maria’s Bookshop is the best prize I have won, with perhaps, the exception of a teddy bear when I was 8 years old at a church bazaar. Roger (Cottingham) was a superb 'host.' After sitting down with him at our first meeting and describing the types of books I enjoyed reading, he went right to work. Every book he selected for me was spot-on. And it was not just one book a month, but always five to seven books each month. You can’t beat that! I can’t say enough about having won this prize and the wonderful folks at Maria’s Bookshop, especially Roger. I hope I win again. Or is that being too selfish?

Join Dennis and support KSUT at our secure website (click here), or call 970-563-0255.

You could win lots of great prizes. Our Spring Membership Drive is loaded with them, including tons of ski tickets, a private party at Ska Brewing, $500 of in-store credit at San Juan Cycles, and a trip to Santa Fe. And this year's Grand Prize is a trip for two to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
