KSUT Kicks Off 40th Birthday Concert Series With Martin Sexton

KSUT turns 40 years old in 2016. We kick off a year of birthday concerts with Sexton, tonight at the Henry Strater Theatre. Tickets are still available.

KSUT and the Henry Strater Theatre present Martin Sexton, live in an intimate solo show, tonight (October 13) at 7:30 p.m. at “the Hank.” Sexton is touring in support of his eleventh album Mixtape of the Open Road.

Sexton will also drop by the KSUT studios around 3:00 p.m. today to play a few songs.

Tickets are available at Henry Strater Theatre, and at Southwest Sound.

Martin Sexton picked up his first guitar at age 14. Eight years later, he left his home in Syracuse, NY to busk in Harvard Square.

By 1991, he'd sold 25,000 copies of his self-released cassettes and built a loyal fan base. Today Sexton regularly sells out venues as large as LA's House of Blues.

Join us for an evening with Martin Sexton, this Tuesday at the Henry Strater Theatre in Durango. The show kicks off a year of great concerts, as KSUT celebrates 40 years of public radio in the Four Corners!
