The KSUT Sunday Special Delves Into the History of Presidential Debates

Hear great moments from debate history, just hours before the next presidential face-off.

The second of three presidential debates is scheduled for Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. KSUT will air live coverage from NPR News.

On this week's KSUT Sunday Special, we'll delve into the history of presidential debates.

The first debate among presidential candidates was held in 1960, when John F. Kennedy abd Richard Nixon faced off. Since 1976, all major party nominees have participated in debates.

Political Junkie Ken Rudin explores how particularly memorable moments and gaffes in past debates can often help decide the outcome of elections.

Ken's guests include former CBS Face the Nation host and debate moderator Bob Schieffer.

Join us for Great Debates in Presidential Debate History, this Sunday afternoon at 5 on the KSUT Sunday Special
