Longtime Four Corners favorites stopped by our little red brick building for a little jamming and a whole lot of laughter.
Leftover Salmon has come a long way from its late 1980s roots in Boulder. Back then, their mix of aggressive bluegrass and rock & roll was a little different. Today, they're arguably the architects of the popular and ever-growing jam band scene.
The band recently released an album, High Country, and toured extensively behind it. Stops included Telluride Bluegrass, the Huck Finn Jamboree, the Vancouver Island Music Fest, and of course, Durango.
The band also dropped by the KSUT studios for a live set and an interview with host Stasia Lanier.
LoS fans are particularly excited to see the band with 'new' official member Bill Payne. The Little Feat alum had been playing keyboards with the band for some time, but was officially inaugurated as a full-time member last September. He joins vocalist/guitarist Vince Herman, vocalist & multi-instrumentalist Drew Emmitt, bassist Greg Garrison, and drummer Alwyn Robinson.
