What a Night! Eilen Jewell and the Cannondolls Rocked the Strater Theatre.

KSUT and the Henry StraterTheatre present an evening with Eilen Jewell on Thursday, March 22 at the Henry StraterTheatre. The Cannondolls will be opening the show.

The Cannondolls will open the evening!

Don't miss an incredible night with Eilen Jewell (pronounced EE-lynn) and local, Durango favorites, The Cannondolls at the Henry Strater Theatre.

Eilen’s country-flavored and blues-influenced music is influenced by her idols, Loretta Lynn, Memphis Minnie and Willie Dixon. Her sultry mix of jazz, blues, country, folk and rock & roll has made her a favorite on KSUT’s music blend for over a decade. On her seventh studio album, “Down Hearted Blues,” Eilen dusts off classics and obscure tunes from the American blues canon. At each stop in her life, the Boise, Idaho native has absorbed the local music and culture into her own songwriting. She honed her performing skills as a college student in Santa Fe before moving to Los Angeles and, ultimately, Boston, where the fertile New England folk scene influenced her.
