Blues harp master Charlie Musselwhite plays live on KSUT

Blues Hall of Fame inductee Charlie Musselwhite stopped by the KSUT studios Tuesday afternoon to share a few stories and play some songs.
The Mississippi-born Charlie Musselwhite burst on to the blues scene in 1966 with the release Stand Back! Here Comes Charley Musselwhite's Southside Band.

In the years since, he's released more than 20 albums and appeared as guest on countless others.

Musselwhite has also collaborated with blues legends such as John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, and Sonny Boy Williamson; as well as contemporary musicians like Bonnie Raitt, Tom Waits, Hot Tuna, and Ben Harper.

His partnership with the latter led to 2013's Get Up!, which would go on to win a Grammy for Best Blues Album.

Musselwhite played the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College on Tuesday March 24.
