Today she continues the station's music acquisition efforts, is a popular on-air host, provides design and marketing assistance, and represents KSUT as an active community member.

Billie Joe and Norah, Foreverly, feature CD 12/6

Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong and singer and songwriter Norah Jones team up for "Foreverly", an unforgettable collection inspired by "Songs Our Daddy Taught Us", an album of traditional Americana songs reinterpreted, recorded and released by The Everly Brothers in 1958.

The album captures the beauty of the Everly's stunning close harmonies to create a moving and powerful testament to these traditional ballads.

KSUT will feature "Foreverly" Friday, December 6 at 12 noon.

Andy Statman, Superstring Theory, feature CD 11/29

Mandolin virtuoso Andy Statman and his trio, featuring Jim Whitney on bass and Larry Eagle on drums and percussion are joined by Tim O'Brien and Michael Cleveland on his amazing new CD, Superstring Theory.

The Head and the Heart, Let's Be Still, feature CD 11/22

In 2010, Virginia native Jonathan Russell and California transplant Josiah Johnson formed the core songwriting partnership of The Head and The Heart in their new hometown of Seattle. The band was quickly rounded out with the addition of drummer Tyler Williams, keyboardist Kenny Hensley, vocalist/violinist Charity Rose Thielen and bassist Chris Zasche. Their 2011 debut album on Sub Pop became one of the label’s best-selling debut releases to date.

Over the past four years, Jarosz, who musically fits comfortably where contemporary folk, Americana and roots music intersect, has covered a remarkable amount of ground thus far. She has toured the United States extensively, as well as Canada and the UK, taped Austin City Limits and the BBC Series The Transatlantic Sessions and appeared on A Prairie Home Companion.

Elephant Revival joins us live on KSUT Wednesday, October 9, at 1 P.M.

Tune in to KSUT at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9 to hear one of Colorado's favorite young bands, Elephant Revival, live in-studio with Jim Belcher. Last week we featured their new CD 'These Changing Skies', one of our favorites in recent weeks.

Sunliner, featuring Sarah Siskind & Travis Book, in-studio Thursday 9/5 at 11

Sarah Siskind and Travis Book, performing as the duo ‘Sunliner’, will join us live in-studio Thursday morning 9/5 at 11.

Siskind, one of today’s most lauded songwriters and solo artists has performed with Bonnie Raitt, Bon Iver and Paul Brady among others, and dozens of artists have covered her songs.  

Travis Book is a lead singer and bass player with super-group the Infamous Stringdusters, and also well known to KSUT listeners from his years in the local music scene.

Intermittent Signal issues

Thanks for your patience with the intermittent audio drop outs on our Four Corners' signal in the last 24 hours.  Please note, we will be temporarily off the air as we replace a defective piece of equipment this afternoon. We are cautiously optimistic this will resolve the problem - stay tuned!

Update, 7/30/13, 5:30 PM: Signal interference continues this evening, inconsistent and intermittent, but unfortunately still a problem. Apologies to our listeners, we are still trying to resolve.
