Linda Baker

Secretary, Southern Ute Tribal Member

The granddaughter of Cassimero "Casey" Baker and Edna Russell Baker, and the daughter of Archie Baker and Diana Cambridge Baker, Linda Baker is the oldest of six children. Linda has worked with Fort Lewis College; Village of Anvik, Alaska; Denver Museum of Nature and Science; and the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. She now does beadwork, and specializes in Ute regalia and Bear Dance accessories for men, women, and children. Her beadwork is represented at juried and invitational shows, including Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market, Phoenix. Linda has three grown children and one grand-child, all members of KSUT.
