Camping and Viewing opportunities on San Juan National Forest lands for USA Pro Cycling Challenge

The upcoming USA Pro Cycling Challenge will be passing through many areas of the San Juan National Forest and various camping and viewing opportunities for the public are listed on their website. Specific information is available at www.fs.usda.gov/sanjuan and the Durango office at 970-247-4874 and the Dolores Public Lands office at 970-882-7296.

Tour de France Winners and World Champions Set to Compete in America’s Toughest Cycling Race

The elite professional roster of teams, which includes 126 riders from 24 countries, is comprised of six teams that competed in the Tour de France, five Pro Continental teams and five Continental teams. Durango, CO– On the heels of the Tour de France and the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, the 2012 USA Pro Challenge takes center stage from August 20 - 26, 2012. Durango, Colorado is the overall start  of “America’s Race” that features 16 of the world’s best professional cycling teams, including Cadel Evans and Levi Leipheimer. Carlos Santana "Shape Shifter" Tribal Radio Friday Featured CD, August 10th

Santana's 36th album is dedicated to Native American Indians and features 13 mostly original songs he has been saving for a special release. Only one song, the Latin-flavored "Eres La Luz," features vocals (singers Andy Vargas and Tony Lindsay).
