HIIT stands for High Intense Interval Training. Each class will consist of a demonstration, warm-up, and 10-12 stations where we will focus on a specific body group per station. We will rotate through 3 rounds with a short break between each round. When the work out is over we cool down and stretch.
All equipment will be provided. These HIITs will be outside, please plan accordingly and bring your own water.
Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor.
The "Take Off Pounds Sensibly" support group meets each Wednesday morning at 8:30 at La Plata County Senior Services.
TOPS is available to men, women and children from age 7 up and is a noncommercial weight-loss support group.

The Bonnie Dallas Senior Center in Farmington presents the High Desert Games Senior Olympics. Registration opens Monday, February 12th and the games run March 15th through May 31st. The Games are open to those 50 years and up - and will feature table tennis, darts, bocce ball, and field day... to shuffleboard, pickleball, chess, and more. The Farmington Museum presents "Survival: The Exhibition," from Saturday, February 3rd through May 4th. Visitors can explore 8 unique survival zones and the optional Adventure Zone Ropes Course. Details are available at FarmingtonMuseum.org.
