Alternative Horizons supports and empowers survivors of domestic violence - and they need volunteer advocates, including those who are bi-lingual, to staff their 24-Hour hotline. The next training dates are April 19th and 20th. Ongoing support is provided and more information is at 970-247-4374.

The Bonnie Dallas Senior Center in Farmington presents the High Desert Games Senior Olympics. Registration opens Monday, February 12th and the games run March 15th through May 31st. The Games are open to those 50 years and up - and will feature table tennis, darts, bocce ball, and field day... to shuffleboard, pickleball, chess, and more. Sign up is at fmtn.org/BDSC or in person at the Senior Center.

A three-way stop is set up at Holly Avenue and Florida Road with rumble strips and stop signs to allow left turns from Holly Avenue onto Florida Road from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to accommodate drivers during construction on County Road 250 and 251. Signs will be removed outside of the 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. hours. Police and flaggers will be directing traffic for the next week in the afternoons.
