The San Juan Mountains Association invites the public to participate in a survey to share thoughts about conservation and outdoor recreation in southwest Colorado. The survey is available at SCCORR.org and is open through Tuesday, April 30th.

The Farmington Museum presents "Survival: The Exhibition," from Saturday, February 3rd through May 4th. Visitors can explore 8 unique survival zones and the optional Adventure Zone Ropes Course. Details are available at FarmingtonMuseum.org.
Investigate, collaborate, problem solve, play, build, collect, and climb your way to becoming the ultimate survival expert where visitors’ confidence and problem-solving skills are put to the test. Survival is open 7 days a week and the Adventure Zone is open Thursday through Monday (closed Tue & Wed.) Tickets are $12 or $15 with the optional Adventure Zone add-on. The "Great Garden Series" takes place at the Durango Public Library and will kick off at 4PM on Wednesday, April 10th with the talk: "The Soil is Alive and Feeds Your Garden." - presented by David McMillan of Grasshoppers LandscapingThe series continues on April 24th, featuring functional seedling starters. This program is bi-lingual - Spanish and English.

A Parent/Guardian Skill-building Workshop series takes place at the Sun Ute Community Center in Ignacio, starting February 28th. Team UP La Plata is hosting a free, three-part parenting series’ around setting healthy boundaries: Internet Safety and Cyberbullying, Love and Logic, and Challenging Conversations. Dinner will be provided with childcare available upon request. Advance registration is available at unitedway-swco.org/workshops.
